Climate action day - Mladi zeleni - Czech Republic
On the weekend 4-5th organized Czech Young Greens (Mladi zeleni) a seminar about global climate change issue in Prague. On Saturday the 4th the happening was organized on the Palackeho square and then in front of the Ministry of Environment. 20 young activists in masks of clowns, ice bear or penguin tried to call attention to that fact that Czech Republic is one of the biggest greenhouse gasses emitters per inhabitan in Europe. The main request was to decrease the CO2 permits for Czech industry in the new proposal of the new Czech emission allocation plan. The nowadays permissions are about 20% above the real value from the last years.
