If you have videos on YouTube
or anywhere else, please leave a comment below including a link to them.
If you have photos on your own gallery,
or IndyMedia or anywhere else, please leave a comment below including a link to them. There is an existing pool of London photos at Climate Change March, London - December 2007.
But we'd really like you to upload your photos here!
1. Goto http://gallery.globalclimatecampaign.org/ (this site)
2. Login or register for your own account. Use an existing account from 2005 or 2006 if you have one.
We'd much rather you register. However if you have problems registering and you have received a password by email from the globalclimatecampaign email list, you can use:
username anonymous
password ..as supplied by email...
3. Check that there is a gallery for your city or country. If not create a gallery for your city. If you have a lot of images, you might want to create your own gallery underneath the city, have a look at the way the London gallery is organised.
4. Under the Global Images menu option on the left side click on 'create content'. The 'create content' menu option will then expand
5. Click on 'image' menu option also located down in the menu options on the left hand side of this page or click here to add a new image
6. Your are now presented with a submit form. Under the 'Image Galleries' drop down box select the name of your gallery you have just added or just select a gallery for that country or city. The rest of the boxes can be filled in according to the instructions. We can only accept images up to 2MBytes. We like high resolution versions of great shots that can be used for leaflets, posters and stalls and publications. The versions displayed on the web site are automatically scaled down.
Note: In the "title" text box of the upload form we suggest that you put the city the images was taken plus a description.
7. You can then view the images at http://gallery.globalclimatecampaign.org/image or click on image on right corner of any page.
We have regular requests for permission to reprint photos on this site and we are unable to track down the photographer. So please register with your own address, don't use the anonymous account.
Last year the biggest problem was that some people are not specifying a gallery. The image does upload but is not immediately viewable. These are recoverable and you don't need to upload again, we will move them into the right gallery.
Make sure that the file is less than 2 MBytes. Our hosting service won't permit images greater than 2 MBytes. Alternatively, you can email global_image_2006@yahoo.com . Please use this if your images are greater than 2MB
